FaceThePaint is a creative face painting brand from Lincoln, Massachusetts, built around joy, color, and community. What made this project especially meaningful was the team behind it — a real celebration team of young, energetic, creative, and ambitious teenagers taking their first steps in building a business.

About me
My name is Alina, I am a high-school student from Lincoln, MA. Art has been a passion of mine for a long time, and a year ago i had finally decided to share it with my community by creating FaceThePaint.
I’ve grown my skills through personal projects as well as award-winning school artwork. Throughout the years, my art has been included on yearbook covers, tee shirts, other merch, and several exhibitions.
For me, face painting is not just decoration but a shared creative experience. I believe that it is truly a form of art, as it portrays and evokes emotions like everything else.
Who we are
Face The Paint started simply — with a few brushes, some face paints, and a volunteer event.
The idea for a face painting business came quickly. In middle school, my friend and I got noticed by a local event organizer and we got offered to participate in a fair, painting kids’ faces. We happily took the opportunity, not knowing what to expect at first, but in the end both us and the kids we face painted ended up loving it. Parents, too, liked the idea, many wanted to invite us to be part of their kids’ birthday parties, and so I decided to make this concept official. As I attended more events and saws how many smiles a little bit of color could paint, changing someone’s whole mood, I realized that this was more than a hobby – it was something I loved doing, and people genuinely valued.
So I turned it into Face The Paint.
Now I run a small face painting service for birthdays, school, community events, creative projects, and other celebrations. Most of the time I work solo or with a partner, but for larger events I team up with other passionate artists who share my love for painting fun, creative, and unique designs. It started with volunteering, became a passion, and now is a small business built on color, creativity, and connection.
